Syntol eliminates Antibiotic-Associated Diarrhea

AAD occurs when antibiotics disturb the natural balance of "good" and "bad" bacteria in your intestinal tract, causing harmful bacteria to proliferate far beyond their normal numbers. The result is often frequent, watery bowel movements and an upset stomach, sometimes resembling hunger pains.

Most often, the diarrhea is fairly mild and clears up shortly after discontinuing the antibiotic. But sometimes it may develop into colitis, an inflammation of the colon, or a more serious form of colitis called pseudomembranous colitis. Both can cause abdominal pain, fever and bloody diarrhea. In cases of pseudomembranous colitis, these symptoms may become life-threatening.

Effective treatments exist for mild AAD, as well as for colitis and pseudomembranous colitis. In addition, taking concentrated supplements of beneficial bacteria (probiotics) such as Syntol may relieve symptoms or help prevent AAD in the first place.  Syntol is not recommend for those already taking antibiotics.  Syntol may be taken within a few days of stopping your antibiotic dose.  Consult your doctor before taking Syntol.  Syntol is not recommend for those pregnant or nursing.  Consult your physician if you are currently undergoing allograft therapy, HIV treatment or Chemotherapy.

  • Eliminates the overgrowth of "bad" organisms in the gastrointestinal tract (a condition that tends to cause diarrhea and may occur from use of antibiotics).
  • Alleviates symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease (such as Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis).
  • Prevents and/or reduces the recurrence of vaginal yeast infections, urinary tract infections, and cystitis (bladder inflammation). The best scientific evidence exists for vaginal infections.

  • Enhances the immune response. Studies have suggested that consumption of yogurt or milk that contain Syntol's specific strains of Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium may improve the natural immune response. Scientific studies show the improved immune function may help in warding off infections.
  • Aids the alleviation of respiratory infections such as sinusitis, bronchitis, and pneumonia.
  • Lowers the  risk of allergies. Including asthma, hay fever, food allergies to milk, and skin reactions such as eczema.
  • Helps to reduce high cholesterol and blood pressure in some patients and has shown excellent results when used in conjunction with Neprinol to reduce C- Reactive Protein levels.
  • Special Protease, Cellulase and Chitosanase components digest Candida yeast albicans and eradicate the roots that permeate the intestinal tract causing leakage and immune disorders.
  • Other conditions under investigation for use of probiotics include colon cancer, HIV related diarrhea, and Helicobacter pylori, an organism that can lead to development of ulcers.
